Nephu Huzzband are not just a decent band, they're a great band and where they've got an edge on most of their contemporaries is that they've discovered a signature style and sound that's like nobody else out there. As soon as the first track opens you know it's gonna be Nephu Huzzband - instant appeal, instantly identifiable, instant pleasure!! 'Should Have Used An Abacus' and its 'b' side, 'Clockwork' both find Nephu Huzzband in ebullient mood, both tracks skip along apace and both work equally well as commercially viable tracks. Hey, these guys are just so prolific! And, not only have Nephu Huzzband managed to get themselves a distinctive rockin' sound but they keep coming up with more and more excellent work - this lot seem to be tireless workaholics with a massively creative streak and a really great energy that they keep on pumping back into their bubbly music. 'Should Have Used An Abacus' rattles along with big beats, jangly guitars and well proportioned drive. If that's not enough for you then there's more in the form of 'Clockwork'! Great music from a very distinctive and original sounding band. Nephu Huzzband seem to be generating a lot of interest and they're getting good exposure - 'Should Have Used An Abacus' is only gonna strengthen their cause and add meat to an already chunky and juicy bone.
